Hey there! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a Senior Project Manager on the Installation team at Renew Digital, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself.
Who is Elizabeth?
I work with customers around the country to help them get their X-ray systems installed in their offices, and make sure they have everything they need to be up and running with their new systems.
Now, who is the real, outside-the-dental-world Elizabeth?
I am married, I've been married for 21 years. I have four kids, ages 15 to 20, so a lot of energy in my house with a lot of young adults and teenagers! And I love to be outside. I love kayaking, swimming, boating, hiking, all that fun stuff! I love traveling with my family. We love road trips. We love seeing the world around us, and we love getting out and enjoying it!
How did you land at Renew Digital?
So, like a few other people at Renew Digital, I was recruited by the one and only Kevin Marler. He approached me one day and just kind of said: "Hey, you should come work with us! And the rest is history."
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I like to work with wood. I used to build Furniture. I built my bed, I built bedside tables, I built dressers and coffee tables and all kinds of stuff. And I really loved it, it was a lot of fun to create something.
What is your favorite thing about working for Renew Digital?
My favorite thing about working for Renew Digital is my team! My team is amazing! They're so supportive. If you ever have a question/feel stuck, there is always a resource. We're always there for each other and I think we work really well together.
Favorite guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is football! I love football college football and NFL. I actually prefer the NFL to college football (which I know is kind of taboo here in the South). Probably mostly because I actually have another fun fact: I lived in Canada for 18 years. So, college football is not a thing up there, and to be tapped into football NFL was definitely better than the CFL.
How would your co-workers describe you?
They would probably say that I'm very nice, and that I'm very helpful, and I do my best to to help out - to be a team player, to fill in the gaps wherever I can, and to just to help my team out.
Favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere with the beach! I love the beach, I do love the mountains. Actually, I used to live in the Rocky Mountains, but I love the beach! Sand, sun, surf, smell of the salty air - love it!
What was your childhood dream?
My childhood dream was to be an Olympic athlete! I love sports in general. I didn't even care what event. I grew up playing a lot of different sports. I had a lot of opportunities playing sports all through High School. I played volleyball in college and I just wanted to be an Olympian and stand on that podium!
