## **KaVo OP 3D**
The KaVo OP 3D System features dedicated 2D panoramic functionality, but can be upgraded to cephalometric or medium FOV cone beam modality (up to 9x14cm) by the manufacturer at any time. This innate functionality, coupled with its upgradeability, makes it a suitable system for a wide range of dental practices supporting general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and more.
### **Panoramic features:**
- Fast Scan: This system takes quick 2D panoramic scans in just 9 seconds - including TMJ.
- ORTHOFocus Feature: Automatically provides the optimum panoramic imaging layer.
- A range of panoramic programs to support the general needs of a dental practice.
### Cephalometric features:
- The system can include cephalometric functionality at the time of purchase or it can be upgraded to cephalometric capabilities later on.
- ORTHOCeph Plus Design: An innovative, patented design that features adjustable FOV sizes, and can capture high-quality cephalometric images at low doses.
### **3D cone beam system features:**
- Combines MAR (Metal Artifact Reduction) technology with 4 resolution settings: LDT (Low Dose Technology), Standard, High and Endo
- Features 4 predefined FOV volumes: 5x5, 6x9, 9x11, and 9x14cm. SMARTVIEW 2.0 technology enables free positioning and height adjustment in 5mm increments between and 9 cm, creating a total of 36 different FOV sizes.

### **Image Quality**
The KaVo OP 3D Pro is a versatile, capable, comprehensive 3-in-1 system, ideal for all extraoral dental imaging needs. Proprietary technology and optimized software streamlines workflow and enables fast, efficient, and accurate patient diagnostics.
Accurate patient positioning is intuitive and imaging modality can be easily set using the easy to use 10-inch interface. The system also features 5 FOV settings with precise positioning. The FOV positioning can be precisely adjusted, both horizontally and vertically, via the user interface and the motorized chinrest, respectively. SMARTVIEW Scout imaging verifies the accuracy of positioning, minimizing the need for retakes, thereby reducing the overall patient exposure.
### **Upgradeability**
The KaVo OP3D Pro is designed to be expandable and upgradeable. The cephalometric attachment can be installed on the left or right of the panoramic X-Ray unit for ease of use as well as to ensure optimal fit within the imaging setting.
### **Automatic Dose Control (ADC) Technology**
This proprietary technology automatically regulates panoramic exposure levels for each patient. It eliminates the need to set exposure levels manually and enhances workflows. It also offers a resolution for indication, including Low Dose Technology (LDT), standard, high and endo resolutions.
- LDT (Low Dose Technology): Useful for dose-sensitive scenarios and for follow up exams where a full exposure is not necessary.
- Standard: Takes a 10-second scan utilizing only 2.3 seconds of exposure.
- High: Delivers highly-detailed images for the most detailed diagnoses.
- Endo: Designed for endodontic applications where the greatest degree of precision is required.
### **MAR Technology**
MAR, or Metal Artifact Reduction, can be used to capture optimized images even in the presence of metal artifacts, such as for implant planning or endodontic work.
### **SMARTVIEW**
SMARTVIEW technology allows the capture of a 2D scout image to ensure accurate patient positioning which can then be adjusted if necessary, ensuring accurate scans and minimizing the risk of retakes.
### **Free Field-of-View-Positioning**
The OP 3D Pro eliminates the issue of exposing a larger area than necessary. All available FOVs allow free FOV positioning both vertically and horizontally, ensuring accurate positioning and optimizing exposure for more accurate images.
## **i-CAT FLX V Series**
The i-CAT FLX V series offers three maximum field of view options: V8, V10, and V17. Even within those sizes, the operator can scale or collimate the scan height smaller to capture only the area of interest. The system also provides optimal low-dose imaging options through a combination of protocol, collimation, 2D panoramic imaging capabilities, and Tx STUDIO Software - all at an attractive price point.
## **i-CAT FLX V8**
The i-CAT FLX V8 offers 8x5cm and 8x8cm FOV that can capture specific areas of interest instead of the entire maxillofacial region, ideal for implant planning, endodontics and oral surgery. For specialists that require larger FOV scans, upgrading to the V10 is a simple, practical option since all i-CAT V Series use the same capture process and 3D software.
The i-CAT FLX V8 includes applications for general practice, implant, and endodontics and is compatible with Tx STUDIO software, which combines the power of multiple software systems into one single solution.
## **i-CAT FLX V10 (i-CAT FLX MV)**
The i-CAT FLX V10 offers larger, scalable FOV settings (up to 16cm D by 10cm H), useful for exams requiring larger views of the dental anatomy, such as TMJ studies or airway analyses.
The i-CAT FLX V10 combines the functionality of cutting edge cone beam technology and a variety of tools for treatment and planning. The V10 offers all of the same functionality and tools as the V8, with the main difference being that of available FOV sizes. The V10 FOV sizes range from 8x5cm to 16x10cm.
The V10 offers a wide range of applications, including implant, periodontic, TMJ, pediatrics, analyses for both upper and lower airway, and OMS. Like the V8, it is also compatible with Tx STUDIO software.
## **i-CAT FLX V17**
The i-CAT FLX V17 is most often used by oral radiologists, OM surgeons, and orthodontists because it offers the largest FOVs, up to 23cm D by 18cm H. It is the most flexible of the i-CAT FLX V series systems because it can accommodate the widest range of imaging needs.
The i-CAT FLX V17 offers a wide range of applications suitable for all 3D needs, including airway analysis, oral surgery, orthodontics, and orthognathics. Like the other i-CAT FLX V series systems mentioned here, it is also compatible with Tx STUDIO software.
