Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm the Director of Project Management at Renew Digital, and I'm going to share a little bit about myself.
I'm the Director of Project Management for our Installations Team. I work with our Project Managers and our Team Leads to streamline our install process, and make sure that we're providing the best process and experience for our customers.
I love to spend time with my family and friends. I'm an avid reader, I love traveling, and more than anything, just getting to experience new things.
I really landed at Renew by chance. I was looking to make a career field change, and a good friend of mine had recently done so and shared the name of her recruiter with me. I met with a few places, and once I met with Renew, I knew that this was exactly what I was looking for! And the rest is kind of history!
I think people would be surprised to know that I really love old houses. I like horizontal panel doors, penny tile and original hardwood floors. I love them! If I had the guts, I'd probably be restoring some old houses! So, I'm really really interested in all of that.
My favorite thing about working for Renew is definitely the people. I have gotten a chance to learn and grow a lot here. I've learned from people and departments that I never thought I would. So, I've really become who I am and know what I know in my job because of all the people here, and them being such a big part of helping everybody learn and grow!
"Everything you could want in this world is just outside your comfort zone." I have a little bit of a hard time sometimes getting out of my comfort zone, but when I do I know great things happen. So, I definitely live by that one.
They would probably say that they wish I would stop playing practical jokes on them. It brings a little levity to the day and jumping out and scaring people, things like that, have been a lot of fun. But also people have a hard time getting me back, so that's probably what they would say!
Oh, definitely dogs for me! I used to have a doberman and he was my baby. I took him everywhere so I'm definitely dogs.
If I wasn't at Renew I would hopefully be restoring some of those old houses!
