Sirona is synonymous with delivering high-quality, dependable dental X-ray machines and other products for dental professionals. Dental practices that own Sirona dental equipment know that it is one of the best, most reliable and easiest to use brands you can buy. But, have you considered a used Sirona dental panoramic X-ray machine?
Buying a certified pre-owned Sirona dental X-ray machine can save you 30-50% price off a new panoramic X-ray system. That means that you don't have to sacrifice quality and can still afford to upgrade to Sirona for the same, if not a lower price, than lesser-known, lower-quality brands. The savings can be even more substantial if you are outfitting more than one location.
As you begin your search for used Sirona dental X-ray equipment, you will notice many different digital panoramic models available for sale. We understand that having so many options can be overwhelming owe have summarized the features of each model below.
## Pre-Owned Sirona Panoramic X-Ray Machine Features
Before you narrow down the exact model of interest, let’s first take a look at all of the features and benefits of all certified pre-owned Sirona panoramic dental X-ray machines:
**Standard Panoramic** – A variety of panoramic imaging programs supports many general diagnostic needs, including: standard, orthoradial left/right, focused or constant magnification (1.25), and lateral TMJ dental imaging views.
**Bitewing Program** – Select Sirona panoramic X-ray machines include extraoral bitewing exams. This makes for a convenient alternative to the traditional intraoral X-rays.
**Pedo-Friendly** – All standard programs include a child setting for a shorter scan time and reduced radiation exposure for your youngest patients.
**TWAIN Integration** – A Sirona Orthophos XG panorex can be connected to nearly any leading dental imaging software including: Schick, Dexis, Carestream, VIXWIN, Apteryx, Eaglesoft, XDR, Dolphin, and more.
**Handicap Accessible** – Sirona panorex machines are easily adjustable which makes them handicap accessible and wheelchair-friendly.
## Pre-Owned Sirona 2D Panoramic System Options
Now that we know all of the features and functions you’ll get with Sirona panorex X-ray machines, we’ll need to narrow it down to the model that is right for your practice. Each system has distinct differences and features that can affect the price.
Before you select a pre-owned 2D Sirona model, ask yourself the following questions:
- What is your budget?
- What is my available space?
- Will you want to upgrade to cephalometric imaging in the future?
- Will you want to upgrade to dental cone beam imaging in the future?
Once you have answered those questions, then let's take a look at the various used Sirona panoramic X-ray options often available and in stock from Renew Digital.
**Sirona Orthophos XG3** – For a cost-effective option, look at the [Sirona Orthophos XG3](https://www.renewdigital.com/sirona-xg3-panorex/). This is a standard panoramic unit that cannot be upgraded to cephalometric or cone beam imaging. It is ideal for the general dentistry practice.
**Sirona Orthophos XG5** – For a wide range of panoramic programs, consider the [Sirona Orthophos XG5](https://www.renewdigital.com/sirona-xg5-panorex/). This unit can be upgraded to cephalometric but not cone beam. It works well in a variety of dental and dental specialty exams.
**Sirona Orthophos XG 3D Ready** – If you’re looking to start with a reliable, high-quality panoramic machine and later upgrade to cephalometric or medium FOV cone beam, the [Sirona Orthophos XG 3D Ready ](https://www.renewdigital.com/sirona-xg-3d-ready-panorex/)might be the perfect choice for you.
