In addition to conventional radiographic imaging protocol, the Viso G7 is equipped with four built-in cameras and LED light strips that enable the capture of highly-detailed, 3D facial photos, that can be used for treatment planning and visualization purposes.

The Planmeca Promax 3D Plus

The Planmeca Promax 3D Plus also offers a wide range of volume sizes to meet many imaging needs, from 4x5cm to 20x10cm. Like the Viso G7, it is incredibly versatile and capable.

With such a wide range of volume sizes, the Planmeca Promax 3D Plus can capture the entire patient dentition and beyond, delivering clinical quality images, even advanced ENT imaging, that is needed for accurate visualization of the airways, sinuses, soft tissues, and more. It can also be used to capture highly detailed scans of the smallest bones in the ears.

The Promax 3D Plus is also excellent for endodontic imaging applications, with a voxel size as small as 75μm, enabling the capture of extremely detailed images of even the smallest anatomical structures.

The Promax 3D Plus is also an exceptional unit for dentists that have different imaging needs, or who share their spaces with specialists, as it supports both panoramic and cephalometric imaging protocols, as well.

The Promax 3D Plus enables fast and easy model scans; if your office does not have an intraoral scanner, the Promax 3D Plus can directly scan impressions and plaster casts, from which it can generate an STL file that can easily be used for treatment planning.

This dental CBCT system is equipped with Planmeca’s SCARA Technology, which utilizes a selectively compliant articulated robotic arm (hence the name) that is capable of executing precise movement in real-time, without restrictions, in all situations, helping to ensure success on the first exposure and minimizing the risk of a need for a retake.

Pair these features with Planmeca’s CALM Movement Artifact Correction and Ultra Low Dose Imaging Protocol and you have a system that improves patient safety and corrects movement artifacts during scans to further reduce the risk of the need for a retake.
